We had a lot of rain at our field location for this tournament, but the Director was on-hand to make on-site calls for rain delay. (Oddly enough, some of the other fields didn't receive much rain at all and were able to continue playing. We were at the Katy National LL fields.) Our first bracket game got rained our in the first inning, and so much rain was dumped on the fields that we were rescheduled for the following morning. The next day, the Director and a few assistants were grooming the baselines and pitcher's mound.
I don't have any complaints about the umpiring. The umps we encountered in pool games 3 and 11, and bracket game 14 were solid.
I didn't buy anything from the concession stand, so I can't vouch for it. I know they had a grill going for hamburgers and hotdogs, though.
There were small covered bleacher seats at KNLL, but we mostly used pop-up shade. We brought in our own coolers - which is always a plus.
