It's open for business.

I know, I know - it's what all of you have been waiting for. (All seven of you.) But I have now completed most of the technicalities for the basic website (more will always be added, remember), and can spend some time of building up some content. This is my favorite part - writing. I've blogged for years, but it was always about politics - war, terror, national security, etc. Sounds...uplifting, no? So, this is a dream come true for me - writing about what I love - my life in select baseball. I will be joined by my sis, Elizabeth - a first-time blogger. And occasionally, we'll feature guest bloggers just so we don't bore you to death - like ballplayers, hubbies, and whoever else catches our fancy and wants to put themselves out there on the Interwebz.

What's the blog for anyway? Well, it's where Elizabeth and I - two of the most enthusiastically fanatical (or is it fanatically enthusiastic?) baseball moms ever - will be updating our personal baseball life experiences - starting with the long-awaited USSSA Elite 24 World Series. This is a personal space, not to be confused with the other articles and interviews we will be producing for public consumption. This is where you get to know us and we get to know you. Speaking of which...you, too, will have your own blogs set up soon enough - I'm just waiting for a beta software upgrade. Once I roll that out - the sky is the limit.

We hope to build a fully interactive and tightly knit community of select baseball families. There's nothing out there for us that's anywhere close to what we've created here (if I do say so myself). It's true - we've looked.
