 Youth Baseball Alliance National Championship USSSA Baseball will participate in the new Major Youth Baseball Alliance (MYBA) and will send the USSSA Elite World Series winners to represent USSSA in the MYBA National Championship. For some folks, baseball is a pastime, but for us, it's a way of life. You know what we mean, long hauls with your son's travel team around your city, your state, and even the country to face the best competition around. Long hours in the batting cages, and even longer hours on the field working at a sport that is impossible to perfect but that is part of your mind, body, and soul. You know exactly what we mean when we say: "Baseball is our life." BaseballNation.US has grown out of our complete submersion in the lifestyle of select baseball. We needed a place for information, social networking, reviews, and the occasional vent. BaseballNation.US is our brand-spankin' new and powerful website for baseball players of all ages and their families to share experiences and opinions on the world of baseball. Our ultimate goal is that we will never have to travel to another city, and another tournament without knowing a little background on both and a few friendly pointers to make the team's experience better. We know we would've loved something like this as we galivanted all across Texas, Louisiana, and Colorado. Other parents know things and have experienced things that we haven't. Let's help each other out. BaseballNation.US is built BY baseball families FOR baseball families. It our greatest hope that this will become a thriving online "nation" devoted to this sport we all love. It is a safe alternative to MySpace or Facebook, and we encourage kids to set up their own profiles detailing their baseball lives. Invite your teams to join our community, add your teammates as Friends and set up team groups. Players can post video or photos of their games, write a blog about their tournaments, make friends, and communicate online. Membership is free and it's a fun and way way to build an online presence. Not to mention much safer and family-friendly than adult venues like MySpace. My favorite part? We can build groups of teams our son plays with, and then stay in touch with everyone even if he moves to a different team or division. For instance, my son is going into HS baseball, but we would love to stay in touch with the last two Select teams he played on.
